No, still waiting for the weather to be suitable. We decided to take
advantage of the insurance craning out to have the bottom blacked and
some other painting done at the same time. However, the temperatures
and humidity have to be OK for this, or it's a waste of time and
blacking, and with the very wet winter so far Graham is still waiting
for the 'window of opportunity'. The paint wouldn't be a problem as
Graham has a heated floating dock, but the blacking is done outside.
Shame really, 'cos if Albion was up here, instead of in the Midlands,
we could have had some lovely local trips as the weather has been quite
good on occasions.
Went down to winterise Albion on the day of the gales recently. A 2.5
hour each way trip turned into 3.5 on the way down and 6.5 on the way
up. I was not a happy bunny!
