If it is as good as the lead that Julian gave about the recent
Argos offer (£99 15" flat screen) it is worthwhile looking at.
However, when I bought one from Argos I noted that they had a
Freeview databox for £11.99 so the Argos deal would be
significantly better than this Maplin one (and a bigger screen to
boot).

The Argos deal (no longer running) was, by the way a bit
confusing. I asked for the 12v version but they said they didn't
have such a deal. I thought £99 for 1 15" flat screen was a good
deal anyway so I bought one. It was only when I got home that I
noticed a 12v sticker on the back of the TV and, on further
investigation, saw that the 240/112v connection was via a
convertor so, in effect, the TV is 12/112/240 but this is NOT
show on the box.

Decent quality picture by the way and saves a about a square foot
of space on Quidditch (more room for clutter says Jane).

Cheers
