The one in our village gets quite a bit of use. We see all the various
delivery drivers stop there because
a) there's little or no mobile reception here
b) one postcode covers almost the whole village so satnav is no good.
c) we have very few road name signs or house signs

So they all have to use the payhone to call and ask "Where the hell are
you?"
