Hi Dorothy

I'm not sure whether I would say that the message you compain about was 
offensive, but it is certainly something which should not have been sent to 
the Group.  The sender has been a member of the group for over two years, 
although I can't say that I have seen posts from him before.  I presume that

he became a member before 'moderation for new members' was introduced  - 
that is why such a message was able to get through.

The member has now been put on moderation and the message and the responses 
to it have been removed from the Group archive; hopefully this last action 
will limit the number of people who receive it as part of their digest.
