Stopped there last summer. The right-hand side as you face the tunnel
mouth (from the outside...) from the tunnel mouth to the new sani
station, including the "red boat" area on Alan's photo, was long-term
moorings. There were visitor moorings from there almost to the road
bridge, apart from directly in front of the sani station. OK, not the
world's quietest spot, although that wasn't helped by contractors
working in the tunnel overnight who cam chugging past in the small
hours. Free hot showers, no digicard needed, just push a button to start
the timer.

There is also a gated mooring on the left-hand side almost from the road
bridge up to the BCLM arm lift bridge. Sundry local youths mucking about
under the bridge in the evening, but no trouble when we were there.

If it's chocka and you are desperate, you might be able to moor on the
left-hand side between the BCLM arm and the tunnel, but probably not
until after the museum and tunnel trips have closed for the day, and
you'd have to be away pretty sharpish in the morning before they open
(and you wouldn't be able to get out overland).

Don't know which way you are going, but we also moored at Windmill End,
far end of Netherton Tunnel, on the opposite side from the visitor
centre. Bollards, no bother apart from goose poo. And also at the end of
the Stourbridge Town Arm, in the boat club - very friendly, happy to
accommodate visitors if there is room.
