...even if they have not the faintest idea what a Hydrometer is!
I finally got one in an ancient motor spares shop in Harrow. The owner 
rumaged around in the back and came out with a fine glass and rubber 1970's 
jobby, in  tatty packaging, priced at £1-49....he let us have it for a quid!
Following tests, indicating some sick cells,  Earnest now has a new set of 
Shield house batteries.
