As has been said it was going down Hatton and that was THREE WEEKS AGO. From
there it continued to the Two Boats - which means it could of been going to
Oxford (as the gent told the photographer but then he has told porkies before)
or it could be heading for Braunston. From Braunston in three weeks he could be
anywhere but...
If he were heading for home (as he has if you work out his line of progress
so far) then he could go down the Grand Union and, by now be in among all those
live-ons nearer London.
Incidentally, he did mention to the lock sharer that he wanted to do more
work on the boat so it might not be so blue and have had other changes by now.
(BUT it's the windows and the Air cooled engine exhaust in the left (port) side
about a third of the way up from the back) that are the give-aways!)

If the boat's on its way to Oxford, why's it going UP Hatton. Does anyone
involved with this mysterious incident know what they're doing? We now know
what the boat looks like, and have a last sighting for it. It would take
anyone familiar with the canals about half a day maximum to find the damn
thing and apprehend the thief. If I was the police I'd do it now before he
logs onto his computer and finds out how just far the investigation is
closing in on him and does a runner.
This is turning into the biggest public arrest since OJ Simpson.

.... it would cost a fortune to get the publicity that this has generated ....
Makes me wonder !!
