Sorry, come a bit late to this one. A group of us on a Middlewich hire-boat (yes, we did return it at the end of the week) once did a cracking rendition of Jerusalem while going through Chirk Tunnel. (I was accompanying on accordion. My singing voice is terrible.) One member of the party, who is a) claustrophobic and b) immensely musical, walked over the top and said the acoustic was like nothing she'd ever heard. I'm not sure whether that was good or not. Right now, though, my main ambition is to fit an inverter to the boat so that I can fire up the organ in Harecastle and play BWV 565 (Toccata and Fugue in D minor) at full volume. Richard
