In my early days of boating mid 50's, I had a Granta folding two seater canoe, which was the size of a golf trolley, It got me to lots of places from Chapel -en -le- Frith (Central & South stations) in Derbyshire to Marple, Cromford,Whaley Bridge & Manchester. I never had a problem.
