Well, thankyou. My late husband, Richard Bird, knew a thing or two about 
boats as he had owned Rigal and had a third share in Hadley at one point. A 
lot of thought went into the design of Tarn, most of it his (I thought of 
the built-in wine rack!) and of course, we nicked quite a few of other 
people's good ideas. Tarn won the Lionel Munk Trophy at Waltham Abbey in 
1994 and several people then paid us the compliment of copying Tarn, or bits 
of her design.

Now I feel really guilty for neglecting her so much!
