Debbie and Simon...always one step ahead! :-) The minigig was a con...we were lured to the Red Lion, only to be told it was the White Lion, banned by the TNC many moons ago, due to the fact that my mate delievered some left-over pizzas, from his Pizza joint in FLITWICK!!! quicker than the kitchens at the Whiite Lion turned round our food order. But now it is all changed and up market. Linda particularly liked her veggie thingy...not quite sure what it was...other than it was composed of a lot of...vegetables. Me, I had the Rib-Eye..which was OK, but somewhat cool when it arrived. The last steaks I had was at Dromod, in Ireland (lovely little harbour off one of the Shannon lakes...soon I shall get around to putting up some piccies) The landlady was so welcoming that she gave me TWO bits of fillet...Even I had trouble eating it all!...I digress... The IPA at the White Lion was OK...but I have been spoilt by some really well kept obscure beers at the latest TNC haunt, the Falcon in Denham Village. (also a rather good foody pub...that happens to still sell interesting ales) -- Neil Arlidge - NB Earnest - Shannon Reg 7410...not here anymore...
