On April 10th some inconsiderate felon(s) broke onto a disability
access charity boat moored on the River Stort at Harlow and stole a
quantity of lifejackets and buoyancy aids.

The incident occurred on the Canal Boat Projects mooring just above
Burnt Mill Lock on the River Stort, and the items were stolen from
the accessible wide beam boat Stort Challenger. A total of 15 junior
buoyancy aids, and 15 self inflating automatic lifejackets were
stolen; all are Crewsaver, red in colour, and emblazoned with the
Project's logo and the words "Canal Boat Project". (The logo consists
of a canal bridge with the familiar disability logo alongside the
profile of an oncoming boat. To see the logo please visit their
website at www.canalboat.org.uk)

Could I ask everybody to be on the lookout for anyone offloading
these distinctive lifejackets and buoyancy aids, and if you hear of
anything please contact the Project at [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Your help is much appreciated.
