To the member who had the problem with the leaky boat. Glad you made it safely
back to base.Having suffered the same problem many years ago with a wooden
boat, and getting my feet wet in the middle of the night,I can understand your
feeling exactly.I would suggest that the best medium to plug the hole is old
rags.I did not let it spoil my intended journey but was careful to moor each
night on the shallowest piece of water around,even running the boat aground.In
the sure and certain knowledge that we could not sink we continued to enjoy a
good nights sleep.I am sure you patch will be successful. Chris.KP
