I was up and on the road at 6:30 to move the car back to Bourne End. Typical
bank holiday weather meant that I was soaked through by the time I got back to
Jannock. We set off in drizzle and headed down towards Uxbridge where I stopped
for Diesel (48ppl > 100l) and a Shureflo repair kit for Ken K. Once through
Cowley Peachey lock Brenda went for a shower whilst I turned left at Bulls
Bridge and headed towards Little Venice. The rain stopped as we crossed the
North Circular aquaduct and the sun appeared accompanied by a very strong wind.
We arrived at L.V. About 30 minutes before Canalway Cavalcade finished and so
we 'winded' in Paddington basin and moored almost below the A40. We went for a
walk down Edgware road and Brenda raided a local (Middle Eastern) supermarket.
Not sure what time we are setting off tomorrow as I have offered to help Bungle
get a boat to Islington. I hope he can get up for an early start.
