Knowing Graham, I cannot even consider a subtifuge hire boat base could exist at Hallingbury without his knowledge (and him taking a hefty cut!!) - especially since all boat owners only get *one* parking permit to display in the car (I still have mine, maybe I can flog it...). True I know June *used* to hire boats, but we are talking a *long* time ago - we first moored at Hallingbury in 1989, and June told me that she had long given up the hire boats (I think she finished them when John died - '86?)
