In company with another boat we cleared the Rochdale nine in 57 minutes, how
you may ask, well it was in a time of servere drought and the water levels were
very low. Normally it is not possible to waste water on the Rochdale nine there
is just too much of it.If you have a lockwheeler get them to flush away some of
the excess leave a bottom paddle half up while you are filling or half a top
paddle whist emptying. Keep your eye on the water levels at all time and make
sure all paddles are closed as you leave.Let the water take some of the hard
work out of navigating this flight. Chris.KP
