I agree with you, Will. The best idea would seem to be to provide more 
moorings and I would be in favour of marinas rather than more on line. As 
someone else suggested, they could build marinas with some non-serviced 
berths which could be provided at a lower price for those who do not need/ 
want water and electricity, or all the other trappings that marinas come 
with nowadays - basic security would be sufficient for some boaters. 
Auctioning moorings just seems to be BW's way of getting as much out of 
boaters as they can possibly squeeze. Not that we can blame BW entirely, 
seeing how badly government has treated them, but they shouldn't push us too 
hard.
