I have an Orange phone (3G) which I also use as a modem for the lappy
when out and about, and for occasional use is fine, the coverage is
absolutely superb and it allows full internet use. The only down
side is the bundle price, but when I'm on holiday I increase my
bundle to give me cheaper use then reduce it again afterwards.
If I lived on a boat, I may have opted for the T Mobile option due to
cost, but I think I'm correct in adding they do apply some
restrictions as to what you use it for, ie you can't use Skype, or
Live Messenger etc, but the bundled WiFi seems like a good idea.
Certainly I'm quite happy with the Orange deal, but this is
weekend/holiday use, not living on the boat, so may not be helpful.
Apologies if it is not.
