While most boaters would like to see the number of on-line
moorings reduced or at least stabilised, it does seem to me to be
a strange policy to close any kind of mooring - whatever the
ratio - when there is a reported shortage. WW report that BW plan
to close 1,000 moorings coupled with the 10:1 ratio suggests that
there are plans to create 10,000 new moorings in the next 5
years. Anyone know where they are to be located?
