Ok, what do people think? The current set up doesn't seem to be optimal, the government are cutting funding to the inland waterways left right and centre. What are the options? World Heritage Site? National Park? Funded and managed by local and County Councils? Privatised A new national inland waterways association (all nav auths together?) Something else? A boaters co-operative? A wildlife haven? A mix of stuff? How is it going to be funded? Who is going to manage it? How is it going to be managed? Who is going to benefit? Time to stand up and be counted and really save our waterways ... Simon & Debbi nb TIAMI
