Who the hell are you to even suggest that ALL BOATERS should have 
MARINA MOORINGS? If I wanted to be in close proximity like that, I 
would go for a flat overlooking a marina. There are plenty of 
properties like that about.

I pay my licence, pay my insurances. This entitles me to use the 
canals as and when I want to. That's the whole idea of canal living; 
the ability to move aboutand a certain amount of freedom. I hate 
dictators!

The only objections I have are, live-aboards who overstay rstricted 
moorings in popular places as this is selfish. Other than that, each 
to his own.
