Judging by the forecast getting down the Severn to Saul might be tricky
{:>(
The narrow lock red light was on at Stourport this morning (very early)
so I assume they switched it on after Friday's deluges in the Midlands.
I didn't see the river but will be back on Tuesday evening, will
inspect and report. By then, whatever falls on Wales tomorrow will be
have arrived in the Midlands.
But switching on optimist mode, the program for the pre Saul cruising
is as follows. Anyone is welcome to join in at any point but it would
be best to let me know in advance
Monday 25th - 16 eating in Stourport
Tuesday 26th - 4 or 5 crews drinking at The Boat, Ashleworth
Wednesday 27th - informal assembly in Gloucester Docks or on the canal
south of there
Thursday 28th - 20 plus skittling and eating at The Tudor Arms,
Slimbridge
