I agree, OP must have entered some strange Napton (or Thrupp). I failed to make it anything like the OP distance - I make it... Total distance is 42 miles, 7½ flg and 34 locks. There are at least 20 moveable bridges of which 16 are usually left open. Made up of 42 miles, 7½ furlongs of narrow canals; 34 narrow locks. This will take 23 hours, 51 minutes which is 2 days, 5 hours and 51 minutes at 9 hours per day. For calculation purposes, this is taken as 3 days Sounds like a nice week's cruise - providing the rain holds off...
