Sluices at Cosgrove were opened fully to release the flood waters into the MK pound and thence to the Great Ouse. It is suggested that the reason for the level in the Cosgrove to SB pound being down 2ft this morning might have been due to the sluices being left open long after the flood had subsided to normal levels.
