Hi John! Thank you for your response. I truly hope you are right about locking! If it can be equalled to riding a bike then I'm sure it'll be okay. Last year I purchased a bike and it was the first time I'd been on one for over 20 years.
We are starting our journey at Stockton Top Marina. Some of the places along the way include: Napton Junction Braunston Turn Hawkesbury Junction Marston Junction Fazeley Junction Salford Junction Wolverhampton Aldersley Junction Autherley Junction Wheaton Aston Gnosall Market Drayton Audlem Locks Middlewich Junction Harding's Wood Junction Harecastle Tunnel Froghall Stoke-on-Trent Bratch Locks Wordsley Junction Netherton Tunnel Birmingham Hatton Locks Leamington Spa Arrive back at Stockton Top Marina. (Total distance 310 miles in 14 1/2 days.) -------Original Message------- From: John Watson Date: 09/05/07 02:34:57 To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [canals-list] New to group[Scanned] Hi Rhonda, Hope you have a good time when you are over here and the weather is kind to you. What is your proposed route, perhaps you will see some of us? Locking is like riding a bike, once done never really forgotten :-) Regards John Watson nb Tam Lin MIddlewich > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Rhonda > Sent: 05 September 2007 04:33 > To: [email protected] > Subject: [canals-list] New to group > > Hello everyone! > > I am new to the group so I'll tell you a bit about me.
