as Roger does not have web access at present he has been sending daily texts 
instead. With his permission I have repeated them here for those that are

Friday 7th September 2007

A long day today, Longwood junction to Fazely junction. 11.5 hours travelling.

Saturday 8th September 2007

Fazely junction to just below Salt. Another long day travelling for 11.5 hours 
which included queueing at locks and following a slow old biddy at tickover for 
miles!

Sunday 9th September 2007 

Salt to Redbull. Moored between locks 44 and 45 (just south of Church Lawyon)

Monday 10th September 2007

Redbull to Anderton in ten and a half hours.

Tuesday 11th September 2007

(The end is obviously in sight as the cruising day lengths are reducing ed.)

Anderton to Lymm. Early finish for shopping and the excellent Italian 
restaurant. It's a hard life but someone has to do it.

Wednesday 12th September 2007

Lymm to Plank Lane liftbridge in 6 hours ready for the ascent of the Wigan 
flight first thing Thursday.

Relayed by Jannock Communications somewhere on the Southern Stratford where we 
have just invented a new boaters breakfast - Scumbled eggs!
