It appears - on paper and in my mind, at least - that we (2 sets of novice boaters) will be in the Bancroft Basin on the night of the 25th. Where shall we meet? Ann will have moved back up the cut some distance. Will she be able to get back? We will try to be there. Anyone else?
My group will be "blown away" or at least mildly impressed if this happens. They told me to go ahead and plan this trip and they haven't done anything toward it. I pass along information that might be important to them. I will have pages printed out for each boat of the suggestions for locking procedures and other items I have gleaned over the past few weeks. Your name will be with the note you wrote. It will be great to meet you in person. I will tell you right now that no matter what happens on this voyage we are taking, YOU have been very helpful in reducing my anxiety level and increasing our chance of having a safe and successful trip.
