Having just returned from our sojourn down to Stratford, I would advise 'bow
in' for two reasons.

Firstly the place is heaving with inquisitive tourists who like to get their
pictures taken adjacent to the boats. Bow in means it is not so easy for
then to get onto your boat for this purpose (although a couple of Japanese
tried with a neighbours boat)

Secondly, the bow is usually the sociable end and you can sit on the
pontoons, at the front of you boat and chat to your neighbours when the
weather is amicable.
