Congratulations on a good piece about licence evasion and BW 
enforcement of the same in WW, Adrian. A straightforward, common sense 
piece (didn't know you had it in you ;-))) expounding the views that 
many of us have held for some time but which seems difficult to drum 
into BW. I particularly picked up the phrase about local BW enforcement 
officers 'knowing' some of the offenders (and turning the Nelsonian 
eye)......I'm sure it happens round here. 
On our recent trip north we were appalled to see just how many boats 
were unlicensed (or to be charitable, not displaying). BW could do 
worse than start by patrolling their own long term moorings where many 
of the offenders seem to be.
