Hi All, Yes, still here, been lurking for a while, dipping in and out as time available.
First of all, many many thanks for all the good wishes, both on the list and directly. Thanks also to the recent 'how are you getting on' comments and to Mr Millin for taking the trouble to keep you up to date. It's been a bit testing here as you might imagine. It was lovely to see those who attended the Cutweb gathering last weekend, it was a great night and thanks to all those who put in the effort to make it a night to remember, especially Angela, Bill and all the 'players'. I have put some pictures up so you can see what's been going on. We are basically living upstairs in the snug, a bedroom made into a living room. It's 2 months to the day since the rain began and we are still having trouble with our insurance company but that is a story on it's own. While we are living in a house that would not look out of place in Iraq, we are making some alterations to the layout, so at the end of the day, whenever that may come, it will seem like a different house. Wendy and I had intended to move in the spring, but I think we will stay now! LT is fine and we have been chugging a bit up and down the Avon. We have also been using the boat quite a lot on her mooring, electrics have been reinstated. The kitchen is better than in the house! Thanks again. Click on the link and you should see the photo's in the right order, with some amusing titles. I have got my sense of humour back, but don't mention Norwich Union. http://www.flickr.com/photos/evesham_floods_july_2007/sets Regards, Andrew & Wendy
