This is basical what we have on emilyanne.
 - Sheet of brass behind the stove, followed by aspestolux, followed 
by an air gap.

Although the very corner of the stove gets down to about 50mm, the 
average distance is about 100mm, with the brass the extended outside 
of the stove, and down to floor leval (where its cool).

Even with the squirall on a really hard run, its rair not to be able 
to hold the back of your hand on the brass. As i have said many times 
on the canalworldforums.
