I have one potential lead to Widdop at Keighley Library but am looking for any info on Widdop Diesel (fitted late 1927) and the original steam engine with loco type boiler that was fitted by/at E Hayes Boatyard Stony Stratford in 1874. I am not sure what the Ellesmere Port Boat Museum have in mind as to what type engine they will 'try' to fit when they rebuild this vessel (providing they manage to get sufficient money to rebuild it).
