25 Oct 2007 until further notice Stoppage: Lock 60 GU Winkwell Closure between locks 59 and 61, Winkwell.
Closure as lock 60 is damaged. (Enquiries: 01908 302 500) I went through there on the same day and didn't see any major problems - though I think it was this one which was leaking on the bottom gates, but no worse than some others! Anyone know what happened? Someone told me that they were draining the pound, and the residential boat owners were apprehensive about moving their boats!!
