OK... I've done what I should have done in the first place and rung them. They checked with the engineer responsible, and yes, it's open.

Yes, I know I could phone BW and ask them, but past experience suggests I'd get a response along the lines of "where's Farmers Bridge?" so I feel more confident asking people who might actually know!
