Hello folks,
I'm going quietly mad here. For my many canal reports I've created many photo
albums on "Yahoo Photos" it's dead easy & have had no problem in the past.
'Yahoo' in their wisdom decided on 18 October to close 'yahoo photos' & move
*all* photos over to 'Flickr'----if you were happy-fine. If you did nothing
about it [give permission that is] then you *lost* all your photos.
I tried saving all my photos to a memory stick--total failure--so I gave
permission for my albums to be moved over to flickr [a yahoo-owned company, so
why bother to change something that ain't broke?] &, I have to say, all albums
safely & successfully made the transition, captions included.
Now we come to the tricky bit. Trying to create a *new*
album is [EMAIL PROTECTED]& pants! You cannot 'drag & drop' photos in the
order you want them to be--as they claim. There is *no* provision for 'arrange
in the order you want the photos' although there's provision for date
uploaded, alphabetical order, reverse order etc.etc. There is no 'save' button.
After spending what seemed like hours in getting nine, I repeat nine photos
in the correct order [only by starting from scratch each time]--the next time I
looked at them--they were out of order! On clicking their 'help button' &
listing my woes, all I get is a litany of other people's similar problems--*but
no solutions offered*
