I well remember the project from when I was at school. To be fair the
kit was so expensive that even when the technology was current (BBC
master, Philips Laserdisc, the most enourmous trackball I have ever seen
before or since) I never actually saw one other than the one that came
to our school for two weeks (because our school has contributed).

Someone did put most of it on the web but it went again shortly
afterwards, apparently problems with copyright and so on (which is a
shame as I doubt any of the people involved would have been worried, but
trying to contact them all after this time would be a challenge!). The
technical work of getting the data off the discs was done some time ago
(helped by the fact that someone from the development team kept a copy
of the master tapes!)

Sorry, deviation. One point to Paul Merton and he continues on the
subject of Mikes web pages with 20 seconds left.....
