Hi Dorothy and All,

Yes indeed, the river Avon has dropped overnight and has continued to fall
today. About 3 feet by now I estimate. More rain is expected tonight and
tomorrow but the showery type from recent reports. The high water has given
me the opportunity to evaluate the mooring poles put in after the last
flood. They are working very well. LT came up, in a direct line above the
water and is now going down, landing in the same place she started. I did
move a rope tied to a tree on the mooring, which proved too low and I will
now put in a more permanent support for a second rope on the stern, that is
taking all the weight of LT. I also found out, while wading through the
water on the mooring in getting to the rope, that I need new waders and cold
water is very unpleasant on the foot (left).

Regards,

Andrew
