We were told though that the level of the L&L was such that BW were running water down through the Bingley 5 and 3 rise locks (and onwards to Leeds) in order to reduce the level. It was over the towpath, at its worst, here in Skipton and Eller Beck was the subject of an EA major flood alert on the EA website. There will be a drought order in the summer probably. ;-))) Roger
