Met up yesterday with Michael Clark. Spent the day touring several impressive Belgian waterways structures, including the inclined plane at Ronquières <http://services-techniques.met.wallonie.be/en/waterways/the_inclined_plane_of_ron/> and the boat lift at Strépy-Thieu <http://services-techniques.met.wallonie.be/en/waterways/strepythieu_boat_lift/>. Back to the boat club for a tour of Sika and to meet some other club members before going back to Michael's place for supper. Altogether a very enjoyable day.
