They were doing it to make sure there were a lot of people to pay their Licence Fees so that everyone could enjoy cheaper boating. If it weren't true it would be laughable based on recent gripes about inflation cost plus increases. Off Topic but I was given a Scottish Electric Bill as proof of a customers address the other night despite him living in Essex and quipped "good job they don't charge for delivery they will be soon" only to get the reply "They bl**dy do already" and looked to see a delivery charge element is now part of the Bill. Now what happened to that nice State Gas company we once had that could actually stored the damn stuff in Summer and had it ready for the Winter and did everything that about 2 dozen companies now do!
