You claim not to be engine mechanic yet you have diagnosed a faulty oil pump? 
My engine for over ten years ran  at 50 psi over the years it fell to 24 when I 
checked the hand book the correct pressure all along should have been 24   your 
pressure may be down to a degree of over heating, get the whole set up ckecked 
by a good enginneer before you take it out ( the engine that is) CKP

Hi Les, have you contacted Ray at Streethay, just a little way down the 
Coventry? Now we're at Kings Bromley we generally go there for things 
and last year they put in side hatches for us. It didn't stop raining 
after that though so they didn't get the use we'd planned, but a good 
job done on them.
