What sort of numbers are you playing with?
What type of batteries are you using? AGM or wet-cell, Manufacturer?
What make of alternator?

I am surprised that you changed the whole boat over to 24v, major
purchases, inverter, charger, pumps, lamps however are pennies unless
you had fluorescents!
