I noticed that!! I was thinking of licencing my 1936 wooden sailing
dinghy for the full twelve months instead of the 'explorer' as I can
claim the 'portable' 50% discount, the 10% historic boat discount, and
also I was thinking of buying one of those electric outboards for a
further 25% discount; and it worked out about £130 which I could have
paid monthly. That HAS gone up as per all the licence fees, but also,
I want to know whether the discounts I was entitled to are still the
case, but no terms??

The one worrying thing by way of this thinking is that lower down it
DOES mention electrically powered boats and says they must be inboard
powered, not electric outboards?? Why?? I can hardly fit an inboard
to my sailing dinghy, and I might as well keep the noisy polluting two
stroke as it's 4hp so still gives me the 50% portable discount (the
dinghy IS very light).

Without the full new terms, this cannot be clarified, I feel the terms
will only change after 1/4/2008 to avoid people taking licences from
1st March 2008 to avoid any nasty surprises.

Think I'll stick to day licences, or other waterways!!
