BW doesn't let canoes and kayaks pass through other long canal tunnels 
so it seems unlikely they would allow them through the longest.j
Besides which, have you got room on board for the BW pilot to accompany 
you?

The tunnel has been navigated from end to end in a kayak by at least one 
intrepid explorer in the 60s the gates were no problem he just went underneath 
them.A great set of pictues were taken at the time.CKP
