Wendover was £2.60 a pint. That was acceptable, since the profit was
going towards funding the restoration. Fuller's was £3.00 a pint in the
heart of the City of London last time I was there, so £2.90 feels
expensive for out in the country. In my normal boozer in Brierley Hill
I'm paying £2.05 a pint for (probably) the best beer in the country
(Batham's).
