Non readers of the Telegraph will be pleased to know that on page 23 of the travel section it is announced that ' An inclined boat lift built in 1900, which reduced the uphill journey to 12 minutes, has also been restored. To celebrate the restoration a Waterways Festival will be held at Foxton on June 14 and 15th.'
