Thur Jun 26th - 5 furlongs, 4 locks - Middlewich to Middlewich Total cruising time 1 hour 25 minutes.
Yesterday, after mooring, I got the train back to my parents house to collect my car and drive back to Chris' flat. This morning, after driving to Middlewich and parking up in the boatyard car park I walked back down the locks to Arun and set off up the remaining four locks at 1.30pm. Shared with a boat in the Big Lock, and then joined the queue for the narrow locks. Eventually got to the front of the queue, and set off up the three narrow locks (my first since the Chesterfield Canal) before tying up to one of the boatyard boats at 2.55pm to unload all my stuff. Moved Arun over to the offside to moor before setting off by car back to Stourbridge. This concludes boat movements for the time being, so trip reports will obviously now cease.
