Have just been and had a look - still in the green, just, but as you
say, on its way up. Seemingly there's a lot of fresh due down from the
Avon, which will arrive just as the Welsh water from the weekend does.
We're going back to Sharpness and will try again at the weekend.
Hi Bruce and All,
Wendy and I got back on LT this afternoon. Got very wet in the process but
the Avon, today anyway, was behaving it's self. In the green all the way.
Sorry we missed you and a number of folk over the weekend. I waved at quite
a few from LT while we were journeying to get diesel and gas from a
canalside dealer just down from the site. 80ppl and LT took 170 to fill her
up. Truth is we were about as far away from the festival as we could be and
once we had done the various stands, which took very little time and were
very disappointing from a boating point a view, there was not much reason to
move away from our boats and all the good company. 5pm drinks in the howling
wind and rain was a real hoot. You had to be there :-)
Regards,
Andrew
