Looked over the bridge on the way to B&Q earlier, and the river looked well up. Today's rain will be coming down from the Avon soon and from the Welsh a bit later, so it could be the weekend before it's safely navigable. Martin I've just (0900) been to check the Leam here - it's running clear and has hardly risen since ~1900 yesterday evening despite rain all day. It had also not risen and was clear at midnight. My guess is that round the Avon headwaters the soil is absorbing the rain but I'll go and have another look tomorrow morning. Sean
