I bought a 3mt usb extension cable and in bad reception areas hang it 
on the tv aerial pole. I still need a waterproof box so I can hang it 
out in the rain.


I bought a 3m usb extention cable too and I taped it into a good plastic bag 
... Not had any problems with weather getting at the dongle
